Community Mediation Services is a 501(c)3 organization that serves Alcona, Alpena, Cheboygan, Crawford, Iosco, Kalkaska, Montmorency, Presque Isle, Oscoda and Otsego counties in Northern Lower Michigan with all volunteer mediators.  Offices are located in downtown Gaylord Michigan.

Our Mission is to assist people in resolving their disputes in a confidential, affordable, and peaceful manner by providing trained mediators in a neutral setting. 

Our Vision is to make conflict resolution, through the process of facilitative mediation, available and affordable to all people in Northern Lower Michigan
